Fast Pitch 2.0 Lite by OBjectic Systems Inc., allows users to make any HyperCard stack into a presentation or slide show without scripting. Educators can use it for daily classroom presentations and courseware. Fast Pitch 2.0 Lite requires a Macintosh Plus, SE, or Classic with a hard disk and System 6.0.5 or later, and HyperCard 2.0 or later. It is ideal for any Macintosh connected to an LCD screen projector. $15.
There is also the option to purchase Fast Pitch 2.0 Pro (an extension of Lite), which not only features general presentation utilities, but also supports multimedia elements.
Included are Fast Pitch 2.0 Pro features for: setting up sound, color pictures, and QuickTime movies within slides or flip-card animations; simultaneously making multiple slides; making a new slide background with options to retain features of the on-screen background; supporting future multimedia integration plug-ins for videodisc control and CD-ROM audio control; playing slides of specific backgrounds; and making and printing presenter’s notes. It also allows the user to jump back or ahead to any slide without stopping a presentation, as does the Lite version.
